Dr. Kamlesh Singh is an accomplished urologist and academician, currently attached with GBH General Hospital & GBH Memorial Cancer Hospital, Udaipur. Earlier in his career he has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Dr Kamlesh completed his M.B.B.S. from the Government Medical College, Bhavnagar, followed by an M.S. in General Surgery from B.J. Medical College Ahmedabad. He earned his M.Ch in Urology from the prestigious Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.
Dr. Kamlesh has extensive experience in endourological procedures such as PCNL, TURP, TURBT, VIU, and URSL, as well as laparoscopic surgeries like nephrectomies and pyeloplasty. He is proficient in andrology surgeries, including varicocelectomy, penile implants, and sperm retrieval surgeries, and is an active member of the kidney transplant unit.
He has six years of teaching experience, mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students. His notable achievements include a Gold Medal in the M.Ch Urology University examination, a Gold Medal at the Resident Bowl competition at USICON 2021, and an international traveling fellowship sponsored by the Urological Society of India and Asia, which took him to Sydney in 2022.
Dr. Kamlesh's research includes a thesis on the indications, complications, and outcomes of intra-costal chest tube drainage, and he has several publications to his credit. His blend of clinical expertise, teaching acumen, and research contributions makes him a valuable asset to the field of urology.
